Frequently Asked Questions

Academy Structure & Duration

How long does the Academy take?

The Academy duration ranges from 6 - 12 months, depending on the student. The timeline can be expedited if the student has experience broking, such as mortgage broking, or has been working in the financial services industry as a lending consultant for more than 12 months.

What happens if I go on leave during my enrolment in the Academy?

It's fine as long as you complete the modules that form part of a specific completion milestone.

Can I finish modules before the set milestone?

Absolutely! We encourage our students to complete modules ahead of time when possible.

Am I able to complete the Cert IV and Brokerversity modules during business hours?

It's best to discuss this with your manager to gain a better understanding of their preferred learning structure.

What happens if I fall behind with my modules and learning?

We'll likely recognise that you are falling behind and will provide you with support to get up to speed. If learning needs to be placed on hold, we may be able to assist you.

However, we encourage these discussions to be initially had with your manager.

Which topics are covered in the Academy?

While we will organise some of these events, if you come across anything outside of the academy relevant to asset finance, we encourage you to participate.

Do I need a mentor to become an Asset Finance broker?
